Meet Mia:
After graduating from University in her native South Africa in 2015, Mia pursued a teaching job in Southeast Asia to make money and have an adventure. Upon her arrival, God made it clear that He had a higher purpose for her. Mia connected with our TeachBeyond team and was captivated by their vision for impacting lives for Christ through their school. During her two years of teaching at this TeachBeyond school, she saw lives transformed by the Gospel through education.

Now that she has returned to her home country, Mia is committed to mobilising other South Africans to impact lives for Christ through serving with TeachBeyond around the world. A growing number of Christian educators from South Africa are already going to teach internationally.
