Black Forest Academy | Service Projects

BFA offers Service Project Trips (SPTs) to high school students during the first week of spring break. The purpose of service projects is to provide BFA students the opportunity to serve and learn about the world in which they live. Our goal with SPTs is to join in places where God is already at work and to encourage that work through our time, gifts, and resources. Over 40% of BFA students volunteer to go on service project trips each year. Where are we going in 2024?

Sierra Leone • Uganda • Central Asia

We are excited to engage with trustworthy ministries that have invited us to join them in their work. We plan to come alongside these organizations in support roles that will allow them to gain ground in their communities. What will we be doing? It depends on the location, but things like painting, teaching, cooking, basic construction, coaching, gardening, and more! In addition to the things we can do to lend a hand, we hope that our teams will immerse themselves in communities abroad to gain a greater understanding of all that God is doing in the world in which we live.

Looking forward to the ways God will use these trips to work in students' hearts and lives!
